The Canelobre Caves

The caves of Canelobre, are the deepest caves in Spain that can be visited.

It’s like a glorious cathedral that rises about 70 meters on the roof.
Inside the cave you will have the guided tour in English and Spanish.

These Canelobre caves date from the Jurassic period, with a great variety of stalagmites.

They were discovered by the Moors in the tenth century, and then used by the Republic in the Spanish Civil War.

Keep in mind that you are not allowed to take photos to preserve the caves, but you will have a large memory for € 6.

You get your photo and a DVD that contains photos inside the cave, and also a concert that takes place inside the cave.
